Mark McNeilly

Born in County Down in Northern Ireland, Mark has played in a huge range of bands, from folk to psychedelic rock. After spending a year at the Gaelic College, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on the Isle of Skye, Mark came to Edinburgh to do a degree in Celtic Studies.

In addition to playing with Òr, Mark has been involved in several other musical projects, winning prizes at the International Pan Celtic Festival, as well as working on several solo projects.He has also performed live sessions for BBC radio and TV, as well as appearing on a number of CDs, including ‘Ceòlmhor Ostaig’.
