Welcome to the website of Òr Cèilidh Band. We are an exciting Edinburgh based ceilidh band available for hire throughout Scotland and beyond!

We play traditional Scottish music with an energy and drive that will have you dancing all
night long! Featuring a line-up of fiddle, Highland bagpipes, Scottish Border pipes, tin
whistle and guitar, we also come with an experienced caller who is guaranteed to get
everyone dancing whether you are an seasoned ceilidh goer or have never danced in your
life.
We regularly play across Scotland and further afield – we have performed everywhere from Skye to the States and Ross-Shire to Rotterdam, at venues ranging from wee village halls to the grandeur of Edinburgh Castle. Where We've Performed
We have played cèilidhs in over 200 venues across Scotland. If you are booking a venue for
your ceilidh in the Central Belt of Scotland, it's very likely we have played there
