Ceilidhs

We will provide you with a top quality ceilidh package whether you are an experienced ceilidh goer or you have never danced in your life. Fiona, our experienced dance caller will guide your guests though the steps and she will have everyone dancing like experts from the word go!

We generally start the evening with a simple dance, such as the Gay Gordons, to make sure that everyone is involved right from the beginning of the event. We play a wide range of both couple and set dances, ranging from the well known Dashing White Sergeant to less commonly known dances, such as the Britannia Two-Step and the Four-Hand Star. Should you also have any dances that you particularly like, we will happily play requests.

We usually finish our ceilidhs with a big Orkadian Strip the Willow led by Alex on the Great Highland Bagpipes before inviting all of the guests onto the dance floor to draw the evening to a close with Auld Lang Syne.
